A solitary wooden boat on perfectly calm water in the early morning mist , it's pale green colour echoing the muted colours of the far banks .

A beacon of light, smaller in stature than a lighthouse but equally as important in guiding sailors safely to their destination . A light seafret , soft aqua water & a vivid red light combine to make a delightfully minimal image .

I trekked across the top of a cliff in wild ,wet & windy weather to reach these fabulous rock formations on a secluded beach in the Isle of Man .The wind dropped just long enough to enable a long exposure to soften the waves & ring out the greeny yellow tops to the rock .

A fallen branch makes a fascinating minimal image , the golds of its bark contrasting well with the misty water

The power of the sea slowly destroys everything in its path , Gorleston beach has several of these structures but this one appealed even though it drove my OCD insane .The sky & sea color working beautifully with the pastel pinks of sunset
